01Shopify merchants already have a catalog route
Shopify product data is connected through Shopify Catalog, so an individual Shopify merchant does not need another feed integration merely for that connection.
02Other merchants may use product feeds
A product file can improve titles, descriptions, URLs, brand, price, availability, seller, policy, and regional data when the source catalog is reliable.
03Selection remains independent
Passing a scan or providing a feed does not require OpenAI to display a product, place it in a result, or support a direct-purchase flow.

What this ChatGPT scan cannot prove
